PUSHING THE LIMITS

Farm City Diesel supports unconventional builds. We partnered with Ignorant Diesel to build one of the most unique trucks the diesel world has ever seen. Starting off as a 2017 Ford Superduty that caught fire in the engine bay, we partnered with SVT Design Fab to create a one-of-a-kind frame. After countless hours of scanning and CAD, we bent up a full tubular chassis after utilizing Midnight Laser's tube laser to get precision cuts on every tube. Axles were swapped to a 9.25AAM front and a 10.5AAM on the rear with billet front knuckles and large aftermarket brakes. The truck then had to decide its fate: Mechanical or Commonrail injection? Sporting a 6.7 based bottom end, the motor was outfitted with a 12 valve style head and 13mm P pump. We wanted to keep everything mechanical so behind the motor came a G56 manual transmission and manual transfer case. Lightweight aluminum driveshafts were fitted to deliver the power. The truck was built to hold the manual diesel truck record.
